Viega’s China site states that the company entered China in 2013, is headquartered in Wuxi and established a production base there. Its current China catalog includes multiple Advantix Vario linear-drain configurations, including standard, ultra-thin, through-floor and wall-drain variants.

The standard Advantix Vario 4965.10 is materially different from a typical fabricated stainless channel. Its base is described as high-quality plastic and can be continuously cut to the required length from 300 to 1200 mm. Hydraulic evidence is one of Viega’s strongest differentiators. The page also states quality control in accordance with EN 1253. For a hotel shower room, Chilong is not the most directly comparable choice because the available evidence centers on industrial and hygienic drainage rather than tile-in shower-drain packages with documented shallow installation, decorative grate options and model-specific flow tests. For a food plant, laboratory or process area, that difference reverses: cleanability, fabricated channel geometry, industrial floor-drain integration and facility-specific customization can matter far more than an invisible tile insert.
